Supporting and Preserving the Blues
The Questell Foundation is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and preserving Blues and other traditional music, by sponsoring fundraising events, providing education to the community, and by providing assistance to musicians who perform these uniquely American genres of music.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Most successful endeavors are the result of a collaborative effort, this is also true of the Questell Foundation. There are many people we would like to thank for their help along the way.
To Russ Comer and Tony Young, who I believe, embody the best of what charitable giving is all about. These two individuals consistently give of themselves and ask for nothing in return by providing financial support and transportation services so that musicians reach their performance venues.
To Andy Coats, Eddie Coats, Genie Coats, Jeff McDermott, and Cori McDermott, an incredible group of people who have encouraged and supported the Questell Foundation from its inception. You are the best!
A special thank you goes to Sherry Johnson. Without your guidance, this foundation would never have gotten off the ground. Your advice and counsel was critical in the defining of our mission, and in showing us how a foundation should be run. Thank you!
To Donna, for always loving and supporting "her boys!"
To Corbett and Nancy Stewart, thank you for all your love and support over the years. You are loved and appreciated more than you know.
To Tim Payne and the wonderful and talented staff at Click Optimize. Thank you for all your help and support in the launching of our website.
Finally, I would like to thank those musicians who create and perform the Blues; the cornerstone of American music. Your gift is an enduring gift that should be preserved for all time.
